Introduction to Industry Floristry

This floristry introduction workshop, led by expert floristry tutors from Plumpton College, will give you a taste and flavour on a wide range of industry floristry techniques. 

During this four-week course take on a new industry technique each week, such as wedding and event floristry, wreath making, foraging for hand-tied bouquets and many more. Each session runs from 10am until 3pm and are based within the walled garden, using foraging techniques from the garden itself. 

Key techniques you will learn:

• Conditioning techniques
• Principles and elements of design
• Basic hand-tied bouquets
• Presentation gift wrapping
• Floral designs for all occasions and an introduction to wedding and sympathy work
• Using seasonal fresh, dried & foraged materials
