Introduction to Building Wildlife Havens for Birds and Bugs Workshop

10:00am — 2:00pm

Bird Haven

Do you want to create your garden or open space into a wildlife haven for the bugs and birds?

Spend a wonderful family day at One Garden Brighton, home of our Stanmer Campus, and learn from our expert Plumpton College Horticulture tutors, to learn new skills on creating your very own cutting garden.

Creating habitats for wildlife to flourish in our gardens (or balconies) doesn’t mean they have to be left wild and unruly.

During this one day workshop, suitable for families and young children, you will learn:

  • Learn some simple techniques, that don’t cost alot, to create cosy homes for local wildlife
  • Get hands on and create wildlife havens including, bird boxes, bug hotels and hedghog homes

Get the whole family involved on this great day out and take away some homemade homes to put up over the summer.

A day workshop to enjoy with friends and family or meet likeminded people.

Our Stanmer Campus is the home of One Garden Brighton. You will be working from our specially designed teaching and workshop spaces nestled within the newly reinvented Stanmer walled garden.
