About this event

Take some time out to learn the mindful craft of Macramé. Join Rachel for this fun beginners' macramé workshop that provides the opportunity to learn a variety of different small projects from some basic knots. You will create a colourful coaster, a keychain and a leaf. You will have the opportunity to learn about and experience different recycled cotton cords and what projects suit which cords.

No prior experience is necessary, the essence of this workshop is to get you acquainted with knotting in a relaxed, friendly and fun setting where Rachel will guide you through all the steps. You will learn the wrap knot, Horizontal Clove Hitch Knot and lanyard knot.

Made using 100% recycled cotton cord available in an array of gorgeous colours makes it a great workshop for the eco-conscious maker. Should you wish to continue on your macramé journey there will be a selection of cords available to buy on the day.
