The Hop 50+ in Hove welcomes you as part of dementia action week
During the All Aboard event, there will be a sensory walk and talk through the Themed Gardens, exploring the smells and sights within the Walled Garden. Following this, we will enjoy a delicious picnic whilst listening to music performed by Mikey from Movingsounds.
This event is for people living with mild to moderate dementia, carers are welcome and encouraged to come along. We are celebrating Dementia Action Week, which is a national event that sees the public coming together every May to take action to improve the lives of people affected by dementia. In 2022, Dementia Action Week will take place between 16 – 22 May.
The 'All Aboard' event is free, but you will be contacted to see if you would like to take part in the picnic, the picnic will be charged £5 per person. You are more than welcome to bring your own food or purchase food at One Garden Brighton, our One Market shop or One Kitchen restaurant.
