Forest Bathing | World Mental Health Day

10:00am — 11:00am

World Mental Health Forest Bathing 2

World Mental Health Day Forest Bathing

Join us for a rejuvenating experience of Shinrin-Yoku, or forest bathing, as part of World Mental Health Day, set in the stunning surroundings of the South Downs National Park.

World Mental Health Day's theme this year is for everyone to take shared responsibility for workplace mental health, avoiding overload & burnout.

These sessions are to encourage the use of nature to avoid gradual build up of burnout. There are two sessions, 10am & 12pm, discounted at just £7.

The Workshop

From there, we will head into the nearby countryside for a session of mindful exploration of the woodlands, engaging all our senses. "Shinrin-Yoku" translates to "taking in the forest atmosphere"—a simple yet profound practice of walking through nature, connecting deeply with your surroundings.

This experience is proven to reduce stress, enhance memory, and bring a sense of calm and clarity.

Additional Information

Just a 15-minute drive from Brighton Centre, we will begin our journey at One Garden Brighton.

The workshop will go ahead in most weather conditions, and light rain can even add a unique charm to the experience. If necessary, we can adapt to an indoor/outdoor setting in the case of heavy rain. Come prepared for a refreshing and grounding day in nature!
