Learn the Art of Propagation

This practical workshop focuses on the propagation of fruit trees such as apple, pear, plum, and cherry. Perfect for gardeners and horticulturalists of all levels, you’ll learn the essential techniques of grafting and take home your own grafted tree.

More Information

Under expert guidance, you’ll master the side and splice grafting techniques using apple varieties and rootstocks. The course will also cover the maintenance and sharpening of grafting knives, as well as the selection and purchase of rootstocks and propagating material. You’ll practice grafting extensively before creating your own trees, with the option to purchase additional grafted trees at cost price.

This course is open to anyone aged 16 and over. All materials are included in the workshop. You can purchase snacks and drinks at One Market (with your event day 10% off discount voucher), a water bottle, suitable footwear, and weather-appropriate clothing.
