Quantum Theatre comes to One Garden Brighton this summer with a fresh take on Beatrix Potter’s much-loved classic, The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck.
Poor Jemima is desperate to hatch her own eggs, but the farm won’t allow it. So, off she goes in search of the perfect nesting spot, only to find herself in the company of a charming ‘whiskered gentleman’ who offers her a cozy wood-shed. But something isn’t quite right… Why is the shed full of feathers? And why does he need herbs for roast duck? Luckily, Kip the farm dog is on high alert!
Michael Whitmore’s delightful new adaptation, featuring an original score by Gideon Escott, is packed with music, action, and heartwarming drama—guaranteed to captivate audiences of all ages.
What to bring: The performance will be outside. A comfy seat or blanket and weather-appropriate clothing.
