Movement for Health

Join Astra for weekly movement for health classes on the lawns at one garden brighton.

Astra has been working as an osteopath for nearly 20 years. For the past few years Astra has been teaching movement classes based on osteopathic principles, to support people on their path to health autonomy. Since April 2020 Astra has run over 400 classes on Zoom to provide people with the space and tools to “treat” themselves during a time when manual therapies have been less available.

Movement for Health sessions at One Garden Brighton focus on recognising and rehabilitating habitual movement patterns that can cause strain on the body. Through listening to your own body, you can support injury recovery and improve your condition and overall wellbeing.

CLASSES AVAILABLE AT ONE GARDEN BRIGHTON, OUTSIDE ON OUR LAWNS*:

Fridays 12.15pm until 1.30pm

No need to book, just turn up.

*Indoor facilities may be available if weather is poor. 

Please bring your own matt and water for your class. If you have any questions or concerns about the class please contact Astra at astragrayland@gmail.com.

Each session is for donation, based on your current circumstances, a guide price if £5-10 is suggested. Please contact Astra direct to make a donation.
