One Garden Brighton is located within Stanmer Park, Brighton and can be reached from Ditchling Road, and Stony Mere Way, off Lewes Road. There are also footpaths connecting to the South Downs and the University of Sussex.

Please note One Garden Brighton is closed on Thursday 10th February due to essential electrical works.

Rail

Falmer Railway Station is a short walk from Stanmer Park, see National Rail Enquiries for train times.

Cycle

Stanmer Park is great to explore by bicycle. If you’re a cyclist there are purpose-built bike lanes along Lewes Road connecting Stanmer Park to the centre of Brighton, allow at least 25 minutes to cycle from the centre. Stanmer Park has ample bicycle racks for storage whilst you explore One Garden Brighton.

Car

One Garden Brighton is located just off of the A27 between Brighton and Lewes and you can follow signage from the main road. You will enter Stanmer Park and be directed through the estate to the main car park. Parking is operated by Brighton & Hove City Council and fees apply.

Getting Here for your course


If you have signed up for a Plumpton College Horticulture course or a one-day workshop here at One Garden Brighton, please use the map below to help guide you to the right place to meet your tutor

One Garden Brighton is based within Stanmer Park, please follow the main entrance into the park and head towards Stanmer Church and Stanmer House. At the crossroads turn left for pedestrian access to both the main gates and student gates, or go straight ahead for parking. Parking is available at Patchway Car Park, there is free permit parking available for Plumpton College long term horticulture courses, please speak with your tutor about this. Parking is pay and display for one-day workshops. 

Plumpton College long term courses please use the Student Gate to access One Garden Brighton. If you have signed up for a one-day workshop please use the main gates.
