One Garden Brighton
A GARDEN FOR THE FUTURE
This is a new kind of garden visitor attraction. More than just a place to visit, it's a conversation starter. It asks: what could the future be for gardens, green spaces, and their role in our lives? Here, creativity and curiosity are at the heart of everything we do.
BRIGHTON’S OWN GARDEN
It is called One Garden Brighton because it is for everyone. It is free to enter and so close to Brighton it is within the BN1 postcode. It is a flexible and accessible venue focused on enriching all who visit.
A PLACE FOR DISCOVERY
The reinvention of the garden has been managed by Plumpton College, leader in land-based education and horticulture. The college horticultural campus is based within the walls. It will nurture the garden, using it as a living classroom and a showcase for innovation.

One Garden Brighton story
The walled garden at Stanmer Park was always special. It was built 200 years ago as a grand feature, but has in recent years been abandoned and never before been opened to the public.
