At One Garden Brighton, we're proud to continue our commitment as an accredited Living Wage Employer, ensuring that every member of our team is paid a wage that reflects the real cost of living.
The Real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate independently calculated based on what people need to live on, going beyond the Government's minimum wage requirements. From September 2026, the current Real Living Wage stands at £13.45 per hour, helping workers meet everyday costs and providing greater financial security.
As an organisation dedicated to creating opportunities, nurturing talent, and supporting our local community, we believe that fair pay is fundamental to building a positive and inclusive workplace. By maintaining our Living Wage accreditation, we are demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of our employees and recognising the valuable contribution they make to the success of One Garden Brighton.
More than 1,000 organisations across Brighton & Hove have pledged to pay the Real Living Wage over the past 13 years, helping to drive positive change for workers throughout the city. We are pleased to remain part of this growing movement and to continue championing fair pay in our community.
