Julia Behrens (Medical Herbalist, author and lecture ) and Sarah Mayfield, Horticulturalist combine their expertise in horticulture and traditional natural remedies to offer a comprehensive course on the healing power of nature that autumn and winter months bring.
The course aims to delve into the rich world of berries, bark, mushrooms, and trees. Uncovering their medicinal and practical uses in herbalism. Each session will provide hands-on learning experiences, theoretical knowledge, and practical applications to empower participants to understand the healing power of nature.
This course can stand alone or serve as leading on to or follow-up to the "Spring and Summer Herbalism Course" (February-July). It also provides a comprehensive foundation for full-season year’s learning in Herbal medicine .
A comprehensive exploration of the impact of herbal medicine on various body systems, including skin and lymphatic health, muscular and skeletal system, respiratory and digestive health, urinary system, cardiac health and circulation, nervous system and mental health, hormonal balance, immune support, and sustainability in herbal practices.

No Entry Requirements
Students aged 19+, on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,750 or are unemployed and receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver for this course. Students must be ordinarily resident in the UK and not living in a devolved area.
