The hedgerows are whispering again… Cleavers clinging. Nettles rising. Dandelion shining like little suns. Yellow dock rooting deep.
Join me for a full day immersed in the wild spring herbs that gently support skin health, lymphatic flow and natural detoxification.
We’ll be: – Gathering and identifying seasonal plants – Learning why cleavers, nettle, dandelion & yellow dock are such powerful allies – Making simple herbal preparations – Exploring how these plants support the liver, lymph and skin – Practising safe harvesting and plant connection
This is a hands-on, sensory day — part walk, part teaching, part medicine making.
Perfect for beginners and budding herbalists alike.
Plants We’ll Explore
As spring unfolds, the traditional “blood cleansing” herbs begin to emerge — vibrant, resilient plants that have long been used to support the skin, liver and lymphatic system.
This one-day immersive workshop will explore four key spring allies:
Cleavers (Galium aparine) – lymphatic support and skin health
Nettle (Urtica dioica) – mineral-rich nourishment and gentle detoxification
Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) – liver support and digestive stimulation
Yellow Dock (Rumex crispus) – alterative support and skin clearing
What You’ll Learn
• Learn how to confidently identify each plant in the wild • Explore their traditional and modern herbal uses for skin digestion and detoxification • Understand how they support detoxification pathways (liver, lymph, digestion, elimination) • Discuss the skin as an organ of elimination • Harvest ethically and safely (season permitting) • Prepare simple remedies to take home
This is a practical, outdoor-based learning experience combined with grounded herbal teaching. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how spring herbs support the body — and how to work with them safely at home.
