Sustainability Festival
10:30am — 5:00pm
10:30am — 5:00pm
Our annual Sustainability Festival is returning to One Garden Brighton. It's a free to enter event so no need to book just turn up!
You can expect a vibrant, engaging day full of inspiration, practical ideas, and community action, all focused on creating a greener future.
The festival brings together local changemakers, experts, creatives and families to spark meaningful conversations about our planet. You’ll find a curated mix of interactive talks, hands-on workshops, food and drink stalls, children’s activities, sustainable shopping and more – all set in the beautiful surroundings of One Garden Brighton.
See our humane moth trap in action. Join us between 10.30am - 11.30am to discover the fascinating variety of moths that have gathered overnight to see in the first hour of the morning. Learn about these pollinators, their role in the local ecosystems, and how we carefully release them unharmed.
Join Alex Waterfield, Head of Grounds & Gardens, for a guided tour of One Garden Brighton at 1.30pm. Discover the sustainable and environmentally conscious measures we've implemented across the garden this year, from peat-free and chemical-free gardening to biodiversity initiatives, water conservation, and more.
Our friends and fellow Stanmer Park inhabitants, Brighton Permaculture Trust, will be joining us at the Sustainability Festival with hands-on demonstrations throughout the day. Learn how to make your own herbal teas and discover how easy it is to create a mini pond to support wildlife and boost biodiversity in your garden.
Practical, inspiring, and perfect for anyone looking to live a little more sustainably.
Whether you came last year or are joining us for the first time, this year’s festival promises even more inspiration, connection, and celebration of sustainability in action.
