Sustainability Festival 

The festival brings together local changemakers, experts, creatives, and families to spark meaningful conversations about our planet. You'll find a curated mix of interactive talks, hands-on workshops, delicious food and drink from the Café, sustainable shopping, and more – all set in the beautiful surroundings of One Garden Brighton.

Our festival features a diverse and exciting programme, including:

All Morning

Stanmer Sauna Garden will be joining us with their pop up tent sauna and ice bath experience.

Humane Moth Trap

Join us to discover the fascinating variety of moths that have gathered overnight to see in the first hour of the morning. Learn about these pollinators, their role in the local ecosystems, and how we carefully release them unharmed.

Talk by the National Trust discussing salt marshes and the importance of their restoration.

Brighton Permaculture Trust Workshop

Brighton Permaculture Trust, will be demonstrating  how to make your own herbal teas and showing how easy it can be to create a mini pond to support wildlife and boost biodiversity in your garden.

Garden Tour

Join Alex Waterfield, Head of Grounds & Gardens, for a guided tour of One Garden Brighton at 1.30pm. Discover the sustainable and environmentally conscious measures we've implemented across the garden this year, from peat-free and chemical-free gardening to biodiversity initiatives, water conservation, and more.
