Summer at One Garden Brighton: What’s On This June, July & August

  • May 2025

There’s something about One Garden Brighton in the summer that invites you to slow down, stretch out, and soak it all in.

Summer One Garden Brighton

Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning with familiar footsteps, the space opens up beautifully in the warmer months — a blend of peaceful garden paths, vibrant flower beds, shady corners, and wide open lawns perfect for a picnic or a play.

It’s a place where you can be alone in thought one moment and surrounded by community the next. Families settle in with ice creams, students read on benches under the trees, and friends gather for food, music and conversation. There are workshops, talks, and community celebrations — but just as much room for quiet moments and spontaneous joy.

This summer, we’ve also got something special for our younger visitors: a free Nature Explorer booklet, available on-site throughout the season. It’s full of fun, family-friendly activities that encourage children to engage with nature, spot wildlife, and learn more about the gardens in a hands-on way.

Here’s what’s coming up at One Garden Brighton over the next few months.

Every Visit Is Different

Whether you’re here for an event or just looking for a peaceful place to spend the afternoon, One Garden Brighton offers something new each time — from blooming seasonal borders to changing menus at One Kitchen, or a quiet moment under the trees with a book.

Children can pick up a free Nature Explorer booklet during your visit and follow trails, spot insects and plants, or simply enjoy being part of the garden’s rhythms.

We’d love to see you this summer — come for a workshop, a walk, a show or a cuppa. However you choose to spend your time, there’s space here for you.
