Café

The Café is a fabulous space overlooking the lawns at One Garden Brighton and is the perfect spot to sit down and relax and have something to eat and drink so we look forward to welcoming you. We are open every day from 9.30am – 4pm for speciality coffee, freshly made cake from our Head Baker and a selection of hot and cold food for lunch. 

Our coffee is roasted by Pharmacie in Lewes and delivered to us weekly on e-bike and brewed on La Marzocco espresso machines. We have the usual range available plus a single origin pourover if you're looking for something a bit different. We even sometimes serve a nitro cold brew coffee so do give it a try.

Our Head Baker Sophie prepares all the cakes and pastries on site every day and include items such as our popular cinnamon bun, coffee cake, lemon cake, flapjacks, cookies and banana bread which is perfect to enjoy after exploring the walled garden. Our cakes are made with organic flour and we use seasonal and local produce where available.

We have a range of hot and cold items for lunch including sandwiches, baguettes, poke bowls, sausage rolls and pasties and specials such as home made quiches and tartlets. Our cold items are delivered fresh to use each day.

Our Plumpton Estate wine made at Plumpton College is also available by the glass and you can choose from our award winning sparkling or the Rock Lodge still range. You can see the range on our shop page and order to click and collect. 

On the weekends and bank holidays you might find one of our pop ups available serving hot food such as Patty Guy or 800 degrees pizza served on our terrace with drinks available from the bar from serves Lost Pier.
