    Brighton’s own garden. One Garden Brighton is a destination walled garden within Stanmer Park. Carefully reinvented and restored by Plumpton College, the gates opened the to the public for the first time in its history April 2020. Rooted in the past, it focuses on inspiration for the future. Whether for eating, meeting, pleasure, or plants, One Garden Brighton is a place for everyone, with things to discover every day.

    The gardens celebrate both heritage and innovation and include productive traditional fruit and vegetable gardens as well as a series of contemporary themed gardens which are designed for typical, often difficult, urban conditions. The attraction also features One Kitchen, a place to eat and drink, One Market, a retail space complete with nursery and One Events offering a range of activities and reasons to visit throughout the year.

You will be an integral part of the team, shaping One Kitchen to reach the vision of our brand ready for the opening of the 2024 season. 

    THE ROLE

    As Chef De Partie you will prepare, cook and present high quality meals in a fast-paced environment to the highest standard. Responsible for preparing ingredients and putting together dishes using local produce where available, you will seek new opportunities to develop the kitchen offering, ensuring the kitchen is prepped and ready for service.

    Supporting One Garden Events the role will seek to deliver creative, innovative and exciting food that will delight. 

    You will be supported by the Chef team, One Garden General Manager and the Wider One Garden Brighton team.

    You will receive a bespoke induction and allergen/food safety training. Further professional training & development opportunities are available.
