Gelli printing and wine tasting

The workshop starts with a tasting of the award winning local Plumpton wines, introduced by one of the wine-makers or resident connoisseurs. Then with a delicious glass by your side, Seana will demonstrate this fantastic new print-making process, printing directly from leaves and grasses.

Then you will be let loose with scissors for a browse of the garden and a bit of artistic snipping, foraging for the leaves and grasses that you will print.

Each of you will have your own gelli-plate, roller and access to a full spectrum of acrylic paints to let your imagination run wild.

The results are as beautiful as the leaves themselves, and it is a lovely means to connect with and express this stunning garden. And a few sips of the lovely wines will help quiet that pesky inner critic, open your artist's eye and let your creative juices flow .

We will break half way through for another tasting, and then continue printing even more relaxed and joyful.
