Introducing our 2024 Dog Show!

Our dog show brings together the pooches of Brighton and beyond for a day of fun, games and local (dog and human) food. We'll have dog supplies on offer to buy, themed competitions and much more. This year the day will be presented by Brighton's favourite vet, Marc Abraham. We will be raising money for the RSPCA on the day.

Classes are as follows:

  • 11:00am - Registration
  • 12:00pm - Most Handsome Boy
  • 12:45pm - Prettiest Girl
  • 1:30pm - Best Puppy (1 year and under)
  • 2:00pm - Best Veteran (7years and older)
  • 2:30pm - Best Rescue
  • 3:00pm - Best Non Rescue
  • 3:30pm - Best in Show

Brighton-based vet Dr Marc Abraham OBE, or 'Marc the Vet' as he's usually known, is based at The Mewes Vets in Rottingdean. As well as a multi-award-winning vet, author, and broadcaster, Marc also campaigns for animal welfare in Westminster, is secretariat of the All-Party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare Group (APDAWG), and is responsible for leading the campaign to ban the sale of puppies in pet shops, known as 'Lucy's Law'. Marc also gives talks to local schools in Sussex about caring for animals and looking out for one another, plus he's just finished making a documentary called 'Dogspiracy'. Marc was awarded the OBE for Services to Animal Welfare by Queen Elizabeth II and was presented with his medal by King Charles III.

Instead of our usual offer in One Kitchen, we'll be taking our BBQ onto the terrace.
