Restoration - exhibition by Rachel Cohen

Local artist Rachel Cohen will show a collection of work in the heritage barn depicting the walled garden in 2018, before it was restored as One Garden Brighton.

The exhibition includes paintings of the abandoned greenhouses and polytunnels, and videos of secret performances made in those spaces.

This project explores the way that humans harness the natural world, managing resources like water and light. And how quickly nature reclaims spaces when left alone.

Rachel's work is often a response to places and their stories. She has made exhibitions at other local heritage sites such as Regency Town House and Newhaven Fort.
