Traditions in the Making

Our listed barn is the ideal location for Traditions In The Making, a celebration of heritage craft and sustainable textiles

Throughout the weekend, there’ll be spinning and carding in the shepherd’s hut and demonstrations of knitting, pillow lacemaking, crochet, darning and embroidery in the barn. Bringing together history, craft and community, the exhibition is designed to share skills and techniques to keep heritage craft alive and encourage local production of sustainable clothing.
